SAT Course Information | PSAT Course Information
ESC is staffed by experienced and licensed high school teachers who are proficient in preparing students to excel on the SAT.
The PSAT / SAT Preparation Course reviews basic mathematical concepts in arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and algebra 2. An extensive review is given in vocabulary building, sentence completions, critical reading, grammar, usage, and essay writing.
Knowing how to take a test is almost as important as mastery of the subject matter. Our course provides students with test-taking techniques that give them self-confidence and the ability to take the test in a more relaxed and assured manner.
OUR GUARANTEE:
You will improve your combined SAT score a minimum of 150 points as compared to the combined scores of a previous P/SAT, or you may take our 5-session refresher course in the fall of 2010 for a minimum materials fee of $60. Students must attend all classes and complete homework.
PREP COURSE BASICS:
ESC Group Locations - 8 sessions, three hours per session (1.5 hours math & 1.5 hours verbal). Class size: 10-19 students.

REFRESHER STUDENTS:
Students who have taken our Fall 2009 PSAT/SAT program are encouraged to register for our 5-session refresher course for $100. Registrations must be completed by January 6, 2010 to be eligible for this offer.
SPECIAL DISCOUNTS:
- We will deduct $15 from your full tuition for all registrations received by Dec. 28th for the March Exam classes and Jan. 26th for the May and June Exam classes.
- Bring a Friend Discount: $10 Rebate
Recommend a friend who registers and you will receive a rebate after classes begin (coupon must first be returned).
MAKE-UPS:
A student may make up an absence by attending the same session number at another location, usually during the same week. Occasionally, travel to a different county may be necessary. Before attending a make-up class, please call or e-mail us to confirm the schedule. Once all of the corresponding session numbers have passed, make-ups are not possible. E-mail: info@esctestprep.com
FREE EXTRA HELP:
Students may receive some extra help by calling ESC to schedule an appointment with their instructor before or after class.
SCHEDULE CHANGES & WEATHER-RELATED CLOSINGS:
It is the student’s responsibility to check our website's alerts section for any cancellations or change in schedule due to weather-related closings. No calls will be made from our office.
SAT EXAM:
It is the sole responsibility of the student and his/her family to register for the SAT test. You may do so by contacting your guidance counselor, calling the College Board at 866-756-7346, or going to their web site at collegeboard.com. You should register at least six weeks before the exam date.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUND POLICY:
Cancellations will be accepted and tuition refunded before the first class begins, minus a $20 cancellation fee. No refunds are given for cancellations once the first class has occurred. However, a credit will be issued for a future course if we are notified within a week of the last class attended.
Live Online students must return all materials within 14 days of cancellation.
